The quote from the King Carlos of Spain is the highest downloaded ring tone in history, generating over 2.2 million dollars. Its a rather dull video honestly but I get a lot of satisfaction out of listening to it. Chavez typically employs repitition and name calling to manipulate his audience. By saying something over and over again it doesn't matter what his opponent says he suggests that he hasn't or won't answer the question. The full video and text can be found at the bbc. What's interesting is how articulate and patient the prime minister is in contrast to Chavez. This is how a first world country leads. To manipulate people with low levels of education you abandon logic and push emotion. Chavez repeats over nd over again to repeat the people of Venezuela. At no point during the entire dialogue is there anything insulting even suggested about the Venezuelans. Yet that is how Chavez will be quoted at home. its an extremely effective tactict. The "president for life" amendent failed this week in part due to this negative publicity. people were wearing shirts that said "Por que NO te callas?", telling people to vote no on the amendment. Please continue to pray for the Christians, people, and president of Venezuela. PS the image in the middle a quote "There are those who do not love the poorest among them". It's mocking the martyerdom that Chavez has taken upon himself.
